Debra is married to her long time love Chester Wheeler, and together they have 2 daughters and three grandchildren. Deb (as most people call her) has been sewing since she was nine and cooking since she was 11. She grew up on a farm and learned to can and preserve food there. She has been decorating cakes since 1976. She enjoys "home arts" and thinks everyone should know them so that the arts are not lost to time. She loves sewing and was awarded the Betty Crocker Better Homemaker award as a senior in high school. In her free time she enjoys spending time in her gardens growing flowers and vegetables.
