The Art-Full Barn offers two Summer Art Programs that run all summer long. The General Art Summer Program allows kids to try out a variety of media and projects, including painting, drawing, pastels, watercolor, pottery and more. The Pottery Summer Program focuses solely on pottery. Kids will learn every step of the pottery-making process from throwing, to trimming, to glazing and how to use a variety of pottery tools.
We offer three age groups for each class: 5-7, 7-9 and 9+. Kids must be 9+ to participate in the Pottery Summer Program.
General Art Camp runs for one week, Monday through Friday, for two hours per day. The price is $125 for a week. All supplies and materials are included except for one white shirt, which kids will need to bring to participate in a textile project. General Art Camp is for kids 5+.
The Pottery Camp runs for three days over the course of one week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), for two hours a day. The price is $195 for a week. All supplies and materials are included. Pottery Camp is for kids 9+. Each week of pottery camp is limited to 5 students. Each student may pick up their finished pieces 4 to 6 weeks after camp (to allow time for firing).
To save your spot, you'll need to register and pay a deposit of half the camp fee. The remainder of the fee will be due on the first day of camp. Registrations cancelled more than 14 days before the first day of camp will receive a full refund of their deposit. Registrations cancelled less than two weeks before start date will only receive a refund of their deposit if the spot can be filled by new student.
